Teacher Sex Video Mystery Continues

The question of who sent a sex video to hundreds of Cleveland public schoolkids may never be answered, reports the Fox 8 I-Team. A teacher kept the video on her phone but somehow the video was distributed to 200 students several months ago. Cleveland school officials summoned police.

  • Cleveland police investigators determined the Ginn Academy teacher did not send the video to the students. The teacher was placed on paid leave during the investigation.
  • Police also determined a student did not distribute the video. How it became public remains a mystery. Ginn Academy is an all-boys school in the South Collinwood neighborhood.
  • School administrators say they have not concluded their investigation. “As in all personnel matters, the process will be completed in accordance with district policy and applicable collective bargaining agreements. The process is not yet complete.”

Pot Question Delayed: Proponents of legal marijuana in Ohio will not flood the polls in November after all. A settlement was reached between state leaders and the group who sued them, the Coalition to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol.

  • The settlement was reached last Wednesday, one day after the suit was filed last week. Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose, House Speaker Bob Cupp and Senate President Matt Huffman were the defendants.
  • The petitioners can resubmit signatures in January. If the issue isn’t passed by May 3, 2023, the question can go before voters in November 2023 if the group gathers another 132,887 signatures.

Dude, There's My Car: A woman driving in East Cleveland saw her own stolen car being driven down the street and decided to give chase on her own. She called police to let the cops know she had the car and the thief in her sights. The dispatcher urged her to cut off the chase and let police handle the pursuit. The car thief sped through a field and landed in an apartment building parking lot, then ran away and left the stolen Chevy behind.

Romanburger Is Both Burger And Sandwich: Greater Clevelanders who love the Romanburger have spoken, and almost half of the respondents to our fun little survey are comfortable with a dual identity for Cleveland's favorite munchable. It seems the Romanburger is bi-culinarious.

We asked: Is the Romanburger a hamburger or a sandwich?

  • 49 percent: delightfully both a burger and a sandwich
  • 38 percent: delicious sandwich
  • 13 percent: yummy hamburger

A few fun quotes from our readers:

  • One of the best sandwiches ever, ranks near the top along with the Big Boy
  • I love banana peppers on mine!
  • Once a Romanburger always a Romanburger. Nothing compares!
  • If it's between two pieces of bread, it's a sandwich. Burgers are a subset of sandwiches. Burger exceptionalists are just hipsters looking for a pop-culture pronouncement on which to hang their feelings of specialness.
  • I always have to get my Romanburger fix when visiting the in-laws in North Royalton! We have nothing like the Romanburger where I live.
  • Romanburger is the bomb!! Haven’t had one in too long.
