Here are the top three stories today in Cleveland:

  1. A 22-year-old woman was found dead in an apartment stairwell on Nov. 4. Britney Renee Townsend of Cleveland was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers said she had been shot in the head, face, and chest. According to police, investigators interviewed those on the scene but no witness information was provided. (Cleveland 19 News)
  2. Cuyahoga County property records dating to 1810 will be accessible through a new online database. The “Official Records Search” website now stores scanned copies of deeds, mortgages, leases, and other property records, which residents can download for free. The county's new website works in conjunction with the county's MyPlace property search website. (Subscription: cleveland.com)
  3. The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is seeking a fugitive wanted for having weapons under disability. Dalecarea Cherry, 20, is known to frequent the Lorain and Cleveland areas.   • A crash on I-77 North caused closures at Fleet Avenue in Cleveland on Monday morning. Traffic delays impacted drivers going towards downtown Cleveland due to the all-lanes closure. The roadway reopened around two hours after the closure was first announced. (WKYC.com)
