UPDATE: Brutus Buckeye is ALL IN the Columbus Pride Parade and Festival
After withdrawing from the Pride Festival and Parade due to safety concerns after the Orlando shooting OSU changes their mind.

Brutus Buckeye will be attending the Columbus Pride Parade.
A statement posted Wednesday on the COGLAHA Facebook page, the Ohio State Buckeyes coaching staff decided to remove Brutus in the wake of the recent tragedy.
However, according to the Columbus Dispatch, an overwhelming social media response to the cancelation of Brutus Buckeye's appearance at the Columbus Pride Parade due to the horrific tragedy in Orlando caused Ohio State University officials to change their mind.

The University announced that “After additional consultation and reviews, the spirit program has decided to reinstate Brutus Buckeye” in the parade.

He’ll be joined, a statement said, by “a campuswide group” of faculty, staff and senior officials, including President Michael V. Drake.
Brutus will join Stinger of the Columbus Blue Jackets, fellow first-timer S.C. of the Columbus Crew SC, Krash and Lou Seal of the Columbus Clippers and Rufus of Ohio University, whose appearance was announced Thursday afternoon.
