Violence On Cleveland's West Side: 32-Year-Old Shot To Death
A 32-year-old man was found shot to death inside a car on W. 48th Street on Wednesday.
CLEVELAND — A 32-year-old man was found shot to death on Cleveland's west side on Wednesday, police announced.
At 1:04 a.m., 911 callers reported hearing gunshots near W. 48th Street and Sly Court. When police arrived, they found a badly wounded 32-year-old man inside an orange Dodge Magnum. He had been shot multiple times in the face and body, police said.
The 32-year-old was pronounced dead in the street, police added. Members of the Cleveland police homicide unit were then asked to join the investigation.

Police believe the 32-year-old was with three other people on W. 48th to buy drugs. An unidentified man then appeared in the alley and began to shoot at the group. The shooter continued to walk toward the 32-year-old while firing, police said, eventually hitting multiple times.
A person of interest has not yet been identified in this shooting, a Cleveland police spokesperson said. Crimestoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the identification and prosecution of a suspect.
