Wall Off Trump Instead of Building Trump's Wall, Say Demonstrators
Demonstrators in Cleveland sing "the walls that they build to tear us apart will never be as strong as the walls of our heart."

CLEVELAND, OH — Immigration and immigrant rights organizations gathered on Public Square to sing a song of protest over Donald Trump's anti-immigrant statements and desire to build a wall between the United States and Mexico.
"The walls that they build to tear us apart will never be as strong as the walls of our heart," they sang.
Several groups, including Mijente, the Ruckus Society, Iraq Veterans Against the War, Working Families Party and the Other 98% participated in Wednesday's "Wall Off Trump" demonstration.

"If Trump is set on building a wall, we're going to give it to him," Marisa Franco, director of Mijente, told Cleveland.com. "But we'll be walling off his hate. We won't go quietly as he campaigns to put us back in the closet, back across the border, or to the back of the bus."
Trump has said he wants to deport all "illegal aliens" and build a big wall on the U.S. southern border. He promises Mexico will pay for the wall, too.
