Tim Tebow took to Instagram to set everyone straight about his scheduled speaking engagement at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

"What's up everybody? Just got back from the Philippines and I wake up this morning to find out I'm speaking at the Republican National Convention. It's amazing how fast rumors fly, and that's exactly what it is—a rumor," said a surprised Tebow.

The rumor about Tebow speaking at the RNC was started Thursday morning when the RNC released a list of scheduled speakers which was widely circulated on the internet and news channels.

Tebow didn't completely rule out getting involved in the political realm, but he did say that he felt that the best way for him to make a difference was through his foundation to help kids. He also urged everyone to stop quarreling and to come together.

It doesn't seem like the Trump camp has a firm grasp on who will be speaking at the convention. This morning Paul Manafort, Trump's campaign manager, told CNN, "I don't know what happened," when asked about Tebow.
