Watch What Happens As 2 Fawns Take A Dip In Ohio Swimming Pool
Two fawns either opted for a swim in a homeowner's pool, or they accidentally fell in. Either way, Parma, Ohio, police had to cowboy up.
PARMA, OH — Did the deer cheer when they were rescued from a swimming pool in Parma on Sunday?
The police officers who rescued them said they did.
Two fawns were just out for a dash in the woods when they happened on the in-ground swimming pool and went in. Perhaps they were thirsty. Or maybe they wanted to take advantage of the last days of summer and swim a few laps.

Either way, they were trapped and unable to do anything but keep swimming.
The homeowner told police she tried for more than an hour to rescue the fawns from her swimming pool before she called authorities, according to a news release on the Parma Police Department’s Facebook page.

Although one of the police officers acknowledged he was “not a cowboy,” the deer were retrieved from the drink one at a time after officers fashioned a lasso.
“Alright, good stuff,” one of the officers said after the fawns ran back into the woods.
“The deer were tired, but happy, as you can hear them let out a ‘cheer’ of appreciation after being rescued!” the police department wrote on Facebook.
