Winter Storm Updates In Northeast Ohio: Snowfall Predictions
Moderate lake effect snow and gusty winds are expected Monday afternoon and evening, the National Weather Service warned.

CLEVELAND — Moderate to heavy lake effect snow and gusty winds are expected Monday afternoon and evening, the National Weather Service said.
A winter weather advisory will remain in place for Northeast Ohio through early Tuesday, the agency said. Snowfall is expected to stop overnight, though intermittent, light flurries could persist.
"The greatest snowfall should occur over eastern Cuyahoga County into southern Lake and northern Geauga counties," the National Weather Service said.

Eastern Cuyahoga County could get 3 inches throughout Monday, while Lake and Geauga counties could get closer to 5 inches throughout the day, the National Weather Service said.
Besides the likely snowfall, winds are expected to hit 30 mph, according to forecasts. Temperatures could fall into the teens overnight, but will feel even colder with wind chills. The National Weather Service predicts that wind chill values will be -1 degrees on Monday.

Conditions should improve throughout the week based on current forecasts, with temperatures climbing into the upper 30s and low 40s by Thursday.
