Winter Storm Warning For Northern Ohio: 6-11 Inches Possible
Much of northern Ohio is under a winter storm warning or advisory for Sunday night and Monday morning. See how much snow you could get.
CLEVELAND — A winter storm warning has been issued for much of northern Ohio.
The warning will be in effect through at least 10 a.m. Monday. The heaviest snow will fall between 9 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday. The National Weather Service predicts that snow will fall at rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour.
The warning is in effect for Cuyahoga, Lake, Summit, and Geauga counties, among others. Winter weather advisories have been issued for counties west of Cleveland, including Lorain and Medina.

"Snow will be wet and heavy, which could lead to tree damage and power outages," the National Weather Service said. The Monday morning commute could be hazardous for drivers, the agency added. Leave space for snow plows while on the roads.
Overall, approximately 6 to 11 inches is possible for much of the region between Sunday night and Monday morning, according to forecasts. Additional lake effect snowfall is possible Monday night in the snow belt.

The areas between Cleveland and Lake County are currently expected to receive 4 to 8 inches during the winter storm. Lake and Geauga counties could get up to a foot of snow, the National Weather Service said. Lake effect snow could add to those communities' snowfall totals throughout Monday.
Communities west of Cleveland could see between 4 and 6 inches of snow, though there's a higher chance of variance in those areas.
