Woman Stabbed To Death In Cleveland Home: Police
The 62-year-old was stabbed in the throat and body, police said.
CLEVELAND — A 62-year-old woman was stabbed to death inside a home in Cleveland on Thursday morning, police announced.
At 9:20 a.m., officers were called to a home on Douse Avenue, on Cleveland's east side. When police arrived, they found the 62-year-old in a puddle of blood on the floor. EMS rushed the woman to MetroHealth, but she died from her injuries, police said.
Investigators believe a man was seen leaving the woman's home on Thursday morning. One person of interest in the case has been identified by police, but their identity was not revealed to media.
