The new splash pad at Cain Park is finally taking shape.
The splash pad is scheduled to open Sunday, July 21, with a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m, said Susanna Niermann O’Neil, the acting city manager.
The various splashing equipment was installed at the pad in recent weeks.
In May, the contract to build the splash pad was awarded to Platform Cement, Inc. for $198,000.
