Cedar Lee Tops Cleveland Hot List

Cleveland Heights is home to the "Best Indie Theater."

There's something very hot in Cleveland Heights.

The winners of the Cleveland Hot List were announced Thursday and the Cedar Lee Theatre topped the list of "Best Indie Theaters."

The Cedar Lee beat out seven other theaters to take the top spot for 2013.

It won the award in 2011 and was a runner up in 2010.

Some voters shared their thoughts on why the theatre is No. 1.

"Nowhere else can you see such a selection of films," said one voter.

Another added, "fun, older theater closer to home...always reminding us how wide the world of cinema really is."
