Cleveland Heights Police Officer Among Ohio National Guardsmen Wounded
The Cleveland Heights Police Department said Officer Everett A. Haworth is being treated for his injuries in a Washington D.C. hospital

A Cleveland Heights Police Officer was among the four Ohio National Guardsmen wounded in last week.
The Facebook page posted a link to an article about Everett A. Haworth in The Plain Dealer, who is from Olmsted Township.
"Cleveland Heights Police Officer Everett A. Haworth is recovering in Germany at this time from his injuries and will be transported to Walter Reed (Army Medical Center) in D.C. for further treatment," the department wrote on Facebook.

On Saturday, the department updated the information.
"P.O. Haworth is now recovering from surgery at Walter Reed Hospital in D.C."

Three Guardsmen, two Afghan police officers and four civilians were killed in the attack.
