House Fire Contained On Scarborough Road, City Says
A kitchen fire brought emergency crews to a home on Scarborough Road on Wednesday evening.
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Firefighters and emergency personnel battled a house fire on Wednesday night in Cleveland Heights.
At 8:30 p.m., a kitchen fire started at a home on Scarborough Road. Firefighters rushed to the scene. A total of 28 firefighters responded, coming from Cleveland Heights, Shaker Heights, University Heights and South Euclid.
They extinguished the blaze and cleared the house of smoke.Emergency personnel had cleared the area by 9:50 p.m., a city official told Patch.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated, a city official said, but initial indications point to a cooking fire.
Luckily, no one was hurt during the fire.
