Kobalt Owner Renames Bar 'The Social Room'

Cleveland Heights residents and visitors may have noticed that Kobalt on Lee Road got a new name — .

Though it may not be known as Kobalt anymore, it's the same bar.

Owner Jim Grenwis, a 1993 grad, recently renamed the bar to pay homage to the place in the school where students still hang out today. His wife, Jennifer Babcox, is also a Heights grad.

There is one other new feature — the bar will offer patio seating during the warmer months.
