Police investigating armed robbery at CVS

Feb. 18, 11:35 a.m. -- Cleveland Heights Police are trying to locate a man who used a gun to rob the CVS drug store in the 3800 block of Monticello Boulevard.

The man was about 5'10," according to witnesses. He wore a black coat, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a gray skull cap that said "NY."

He may have left in a white 4-door compact sedan.

Officers track suspected video game thief's footprints in the snow

Feb. 16, 5:38 a.m. -- Cleveland Heights Police were trying to find someone who had stolen an XBox 360 and video games from a home on Monticello Boulevard.

They followed a distinct pair of footprints from the crime scene up Washington, Hempstead and Rossmoor streets and back to another home on Monticello.

At the second Monticello home, they found a 23-year-old suspect, as well as shoes that matched the prints they'd been following and an XBox 360 system and the games that were reported stolen.

The suspect was charged with burglary.

A bad Valentine

Feb. 14, 5:41 p.m. -- A woman called Cleveland Heights police to say that a man who was wearing no pants and touching himself knocked on the door of her Noble Road apartment.

He also said vulgar things to her, according to the victim.

Cleveland Heights police searched the apartment building and the neighborhood but they could not find anyone who matched the description
