In February, the Miamisburg Branch Library will be offering tweens, teens, and adult readers a chance to check out Book Lover Bags, put together especially for them by staff Librarians.
Those interested in having a personalized bag put together will first need to register, which begins on Tuesday, January 18 and runs through Saturday, February 5 via the Library’s program calendar. Upon registering, patrons will receive a survey. Based on that survey information, staff at the Miamisburg Branch will then select two book titles for each registered patron and place them in a bag with other fun treats.

Patrons will then be able to come into the Branch any time during Library hours, Thursday, February 17 through Saturday, February 19, to check out their Book Lover Bag. Books will need to be returned by their return date, but whatever else is in the bag is the patron’s to keep. “It’s very much like a box subscription service,” Senatore adds. “But the best thing about the Book Lover Bags is that they are free.”
Readers who feel daring enough to let the Library select books for them click here to register and find more information about the program, or patrons may also call the Ask Me Line at 937.463.2665.
