Dayton Metro Library will be welcoming a unique, traveling interactive exhibit to three of its Branches in the first three months of 2022. Atlas of Dayton: A City in Progress allows patrons to learn about issues of equity, opportunity, and resource access in Dayton. The exhibit uses cartographic language and graphic design to help patrons better understand the present landscape of our city.
Atlas of Dayton is an ongoing research project of Misty Thomas-Trout, a University of Dayton Assistant Professor of Graphic Design. The exhibit is presented in partnership with the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission and is sponsored by the UD College of Arts & Sciences.
