Dayton Metro Library Hosts Military Artifacts Exhibit
Visitors can view the exhibit during normal Branch Library hours.

The Dayton Metro Library will be hosting a Military Artifacts exhibit Monday, October 18 through Thursday, November 18 at the Wilmington-Stroop Branch Library. The exhibit is courtesy of the American Veterans Heritage Center (AVHC). Artifacts on display include: military uniforms and clothing, a flak jacket and helmets; a field radio, canteen, and web belt; a V-Mail display from World War II; a POW/MIA banner; a space shuttle tile from an early Challenger mission; and magazines from World War II, along with assorted books about different military events (some of which are from local authors). Many of the artifacts come from the Miami Valley Military History Museum.
