Dayton Metro Library’s Take and Make Kits final theme of 2021 is light and dark. Two free, virtual programs compliment this month’s theme.

Firelight Shadow Theater: Spin Me a Shadow, Tell Me a Tale: Tuesday, December 21, 7 - 8 PM. Families and kids in grades 1-6 will discover the magical world of shadow puppetry with Daniel Barash of Firelight Shadow Theater. After first introducing audience members to the art of shadow puppetry (including numerous puppets from Southeast Asia), Barash will share fast-paced shadow puppetry versions of the best-loved folktales from around the world.
