Flash Flood Watch For Washington County

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Southeast Ohio.

MARIETTA, OH — The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a flash flood watch. It will be in effect from 8 pm tonight until 8 am tomorrow morning. They say a cold front is moving in and could bring anywhere from 1 to 1 1/2 inches of rain with it. Seeing as how the ground is already saturated, additional heavy rainfall will cause some localized flooding and excessive runoff.
