From 10 a.m. tomorrow morning until 4 p.m. tomorrow afternoon, exotic animal breeders will be showing off their little buddies to adults and kids alike at the Washington County Fairgrounds. There will be exotic reptiles, invertebrates, small mammals, and birds. The amount of interaction with the animals will be limited due to COVID-19 restrictions, but many of the animals will be for sale.

Shawn Alexander, owner of Tri-State Exotic Animal Expo WV, says exotic animal purchases have gone through the roof during this pandemic. But a reminder, once this pandemic is gone, the animals will still be here. He says if you get one you should be committed to taking care of it, and giving these animals what they deserve, solid forever homes.

Admission will be $10 at the gate and kids 12 and under get in for free. Alexander says they're dealing with a scammer situation right now and that tickets are only being sold at the gate. So anyone trying to sell you one ahead of time might also have a bridge to sell you.
