Their post on Facebook says the sale of exotic animals has increased across the board during the pandemic. They want to remind those wishing to attend, any animal bought at the expo will be around long after the pandemic is over, and these animals deserve solid forever homes. Breeders will be out with their animals and happy to talk to you and your children.

Shawn Alexander, owner of Tri-State Exotic Animal Expo WV, says they will have breeders offering exotic animals, reptiles, invertebrates, small mammals and birds. All harmless and legal in Ohio. They will also be offering supplies for exotic pet owners. "Whether you're ready for your next pet, or need more info from a breeder to see if an animal is right for you, Tri-State's the place."
Alexander says they hope to make Marietta a permanent stop of theirs. Ideally, they'd like to hold events in Marietta a few times every year. Because of COVID-19 restrictions, they're mostly retail-oriented right now. "During a normal show, there's lots of animals for kids to interact with and learn about." But it's still a fun event for the whole family.
