Marietta City Road Projects

City of Marietta traffic signal/pedestrian safety improvements - A traffic signal and pedestrian safety improvement project is taking place at various locations in the City of Marietta, including: Fifth St./Washington St., Fifth St/Garfield Ave., Fifth St./Wooster St., Sixth St./Warren St., Sixth St./Montgomery St., and North Seventh St. between Ephraim Cutler St. and Wooster St. There will be periodic daily lane closures in place. Estimated completion: September 1, 2021

State Route Projects

SR 7 resurfacing - A resurfacing project is taking place on SR 7, between Veto Road (County Road 3) and River Lane (Township Road 720). Single lane closures are in place. Estimated completion: November 15, 2021

SR 550 landslide repair - A landslide repair project begins on September 1 on SR 550, between Rowland Lane (Township Road 566) and West Road (Township Road 211). One lane will be closed. Temporary traffic signals and a 10 foot width restriction will be in place. Estimated completion: December 1, 2021

SR 26 landslide repair - One lane of SR 26 is closed between SR 260 and Wilson Run Road (Township Road 136) for a landslide repair project. Temporary traffic signals and an 11 foot width restriction are in place. Estimated completion: October 15, 2021

SR 555 bridge replacement - One lane of SR 555 is closed between Barton Road (Township Road 714) and SR 676 for a bridge replacement project. Temporary traffic signals and an 11 foot width restriction are in place. Estimated completion: November 1, 2021

SR 530 tree trimming - A tree trimming project is taking place on SR 530, between Schau Road (Township Road 156) and SR 821. The road is closed from 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Estimated completion: August 23, 2021
