Freezing Rain Expected Wednesday Morning Before Temps Improve
Lake County and surrounding communities are under a brief winter weather advisory on Wednesday.
MENTOR, OH — The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for Mentor and surrounding communities on Wednesday morning.
Freezing rain is expected to fall throughout the morning, creating a light glaze on most surfaces. Even though the rain should stop by 9 a.m., drivers and pedestrians could face hazardous travel conditions in the morning.
"Plan on slippery road conditions, especially on colder bridges and overpasses. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute," the agency warned.
