Possible Threat Made Toward Mentor High School: Police
Police are investigating a possible social media threat toward Mentor High School.
MENTOR, OH — Police are investigating a potential threat made toward Mentor High School on Wednesday, according to reports.
The threat was discovered on social media between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, according to the school district.
"Police are currently working hard to track down information about the post including who the author is and our team is assisting, but we need more time," the district added. As a precaution, Mentor High was closed Wednesday. Only Mentor High School was impacted by the threat.

Anyone with information about the threat should contact Mentor Police.
"As you know, we take all threats extremely seriously and the safety of our students and staff is our number one priority in Mentor Schools," the district said. Mentor Schools officials promised to send updates on the situation as more information is available.
