Dying Dog Gets Free Burger King Cheeseburgers For Life
Every day, a family in Toledo goes to Burger King to buy their terminally ill dog a cheeseburger to eat with his medicine.

TOLEDO, OH — Cody won’t live much longer, but the terminally ill dog will get a special treat every day for the rest of his life and his family’s pockets will be a little lighter. It’s because a Burger King employee in Toledo was curious about the daily order of a plain cheeseburger — no ketchup, no mustard, no pickles or onions. What was up with that, the worker wondered.
When the family explained the reason — the 10-year-old dog was diagnosed with terminal cancer a couple of months ago and they decided to make his last days some of his best — the store manager said Cody would get free cheeseburgers at that location for the rest of his life.
The cheeseburgers help the medicine go down, his family said in a post on Twitter. Veterinarians have given Cody only has one to three months to live, according to the post.
