The University of Toledo will hold drop-in COVID-19 testing for asymptomatic faculty, staff and students later this week at Savage Arena.

Tests will be available from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13, and Friday, Jan. 14, and from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15.
No appointment is required. Tests are reserved exclusively for members of the campus community. You must have a current Rocket ID to be tested. Results from the rapid antigen tests will be available in approximately 15 minutes.

The screening event — which also will serve as the location for required testing of returning residential students — is only for those who are not experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
Faculty, staff and students who are sick can get tested without an appointment at the University Health Center on Main Campus from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Ill individuals, or those seeking a test after a known exposure to the virus, also can schedule a COVID-19 test through The University of Toledo Medical Center by calling 419.383.4545.
Testing appointments are also available for the general public through the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department at the Lucas County Rec Center in Maumee.
UToledo does not currently have at-home test kits available for distribution to faculty, staff and students.
Beginning next week, asymptomatic faculty, staff and students who wish to be tested for COVID-19 will be able to request an appointment by using the University’s online scheduling portal. Next week’s appointments will be posted on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
Unvaccinated students and employees — including those who have been granted an exemption — are already required to participate in the University’s surveillance COVID-19 testing process at least once per week using the same online scheduling portal.
