- Tulsa police have arrested a man charged with human trafficking and kidnapping.
Authorities said Nathaniel Washington trafficked several women and forced them into prostitution. At least three of the victims were trafficked across state lines from Louisiana and Oregon. (News On 6) - The Tulsa Health Department is expanding medical services at the North Regional Health and Wellness Center. As part of the expansion, Crossover Health Services will use the clinical space previously used by the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences to provide comprehensive health care services for adults and children. The clinic is set to open in early 2022 and will accept Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance. (KOKI FOX 23)
- The Tulsa Opera spent Thursday volunteering at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. The volunteers packed up bags of food for Oklahomans in need, helping the food bank in its mission to put about 30 million pounds of food back into the community each year. Employees said volunteers help the organization save money, and anyone interested in volunteering can find more information on the food bank's website. (news9.com KWTV)
