Here are the top three stories in Tulsa today:
- The Tulsa Police Department is looking for a suspect in a hit-and-run near Admiral Place and Yale Avenue. According to TPD officers, a man walking in the middle of the road on Yale was hit and killed by the driver of a blue Toyota on Saturday morning. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to contact Crimestoppers. (News On 6)
- Did you know that Tulsa middle and high school students have access to a television studio within a school? Students in Webster's Television, Film, and Digital Media program have the opportunity to learn career-ready skills and obtain media production certifications. The program is available for students in eighth grade and above. (Press Release Desk)
- Amid an ongoing blood shortage, Tulsa's Ascension St. John Medical Center held a community blood drive on Friday. About 75% percent of the donors who signed up are employed with the healthcare system. The hospital said all of its appointments were booked, making it the best turnout it's had since before the pandemic. (News On 6)
