- Aalto Lounge, home of the $2 happy hour from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. every day of the week, takes the top spot in this roundup. - Interurban is a hip happy hour alternative for those who've grown weary of the loud and crowded sports bars that are popular after-work spots in Portland. Their happy hour specials run from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Sunday from 10:00 p.m. to close. Interurban severs 20 ounce mugs of beer for $4, wine by the glass for $5, standard cocktails (i.e. a Whiskey & Ginger) for $5 and select Irish whiskeys for $3.

- Bluehour boasts a modern-classic aesthetic, with high ceilings and hand crafted cocktails. Their 'Happy Bluehour' specials run Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on the weekend, Saturday and Sunday, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. They have six dollar signature cocktails, like 'The GiGi' (a bucket of bubbles & a shot of whiskey) or the 'New York Sour' (whiskey, lemon, red wine).

- The Pope House Bourbon Lounge runs its happy hour specials all day Monday, and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the other six days. They've got dollar-off pints, $6 cocktails with mid-shelf liquors and $4 mix & mash options (Evan Williams, Ezra Brooks and Jim Beam are a few possible options). You can grab a $5 cup of macaroni or $7 pork sliders to pair with your drink as well.

- Clyde Common takes an industrial, stainless-steel, pragmatic approach to happy hour. They run their specials from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday and offer $4 draft beer and $6 house wine (red or white). Clyde Common is best known for the affordable appetizer specials they offer alongside of their cheap cocktails. Plus, they have vegan and vegetarian options.

- Belmont Station is notorious among beer lovers in Portland for the wide variety of ales they offer. Instead of a traditional 'Happy Hour' however, they host something called 'Biercafe' which runs from Monday through Friday from Noon to 11:00 p.m., Saturday from 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Taste an entire flight of new craft beers and get the best bang for your buck at Belmont Station.
- Bailey's Taproom is stocked with a rotating tap list of 26 different ales. Another pour house without a traditional happy hour set up, Bailey's prices are "definitely the lowest this side of the river," said Nick Rivers, tech manager for Bailey's Taproom. - Portland City Grill is a family-friendly, contemporary American restaurant in Portland with happy-hour specials worth checking out. City Grill runs their happy hour specials Monday-Saturday, 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to close, and Sunday from noon to close. We're talking bottles of wine for $26, a can of Coors Lite for $4.75, maybe you're in the mood for a Pretty Pink Margarita? Not a problem. $7.50, flat. Traveling with a vegan? Not to worry. Portland City Grill has vegan, vegetarian and gluten free appetizers at affordable prices, like their Asian spring rolls, only $5.95.

- Ringside Steakhouse prides itself on its 'ever-evolving' menu and extensive wine list. While their mixed drink specials might be lacking compared to other places in this round up, Ringside more than makes up for it with an extensive, affordable selection of happy hour appetizers.
