What are some things that make PDX Central City Concern unique?

"Central City Concern (CCC) is a Portland non-profit serving single adults and families who are impacted by homelessness, poverty and addictions. Since 1979, CCC has developed comprehensive affordable housing options integrated with social services such as access to health care, recovery and employment," said Susan Wickstrom, Director of Communication and Marketing for Central City Concern.

How do you contribute to the PDX community?

"In 2015, CCC managed 1,589 apartments in 22 building across the Portland Metro area, with more buildings opening every year. The agency offers integrated primary and behavioral health care through 11 federally qualified health center sites, and peer support for our recovering patients. Jobseekers get one-on-one supported employment services, and CCC offers training through transitional positions. The agency also supports the community’s public health with sobering services for people experiencing public intoxication, as well as litter-free streets through our Clean & Safe training program," said Wickstrom.
