Downtown Homicide: Portland Police Investigate Fatal Shooting
A shooting Thursday night downtown left a person dead, police said.
PORTLAND, OR — Calls to 911 around 10 p.m. Thursday night said that a person had been shot downtown. Portland Police said that officers arrived by the intersection of Northwest 6th Avenue and Northwest Burnside Street where they found a person dead.
The person had been shot at least once.
Police have not released any information yet about the victim including whether it was a man or a woman.

Homicide detectives are investigating.
