This event promises to be a smash hit for pickleball enthusiasts of all levels, whether you are a seasoned pro or a beginner looking to dip their paddle. It will be the second pickleball event of the year that the Kelly Johnson Foundation will be hosting. This time, there is an extra perk: Donuts! This event will be held at Sellwood Park in Portland Oregon, where there will be donuts on-site.
The tournament will feature multiple divisions including Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles divisions (3.0-3.5, 3.5-4.0, 4.0-5.0) in addition to a Juniors Singles (18 & under) division. Winning teams will receive a sweet prize from one of the local coffee shops. One of the event sponsors, the Daily Grind Podcast, will partner with local coffee and donut shops to fuel the grind of our pickleball players competing in the event.

Dinks and Donuts isn't just about the matches; it's an opportunity to connect with fellow players and embrace the vibrant spirit of the pickleball community. Those who are
interested may come as a player, spectator, or volunteer.
The founder of the organization, Kelly Johnson, expresses her excitement for the tournament when she says, "The Portland Pickleball Open was such a successful event in July, we wanted to squeeze in one more opportunity this year for the Portland community to get involved and play a sport they love: pickleball!"
All are welcome at this event, where all proceeds are donated to the Johnson Family Scholarship, a program that gives scholarships to high school senior athletes every year. The Kelly Johnson Foundation has raised over $15,000 the past 11 years for high school scholarships and extracurricular support in the US. The nonprofit hopes to make Dinks and Donuts Pickleball Tournament a key component in providing scholarships in Oregon!
KJF is proud to announce the event sponsors include Adidas, The Good Pickle PDX, Pan’s Mushroom Jerky, and more coming soon.
The team player entry is $40 per team ($20 per player). The draws will be posted Thursday, October 5th.
