Here are the top four stories in Portland today:
- A man led Portland police on a high-speed chase through NE Portland on Saturday. A Portland Police Bureau officer spotted a car driving at high speeds on NE 82nd/NE Sandy shortly after 11:00 p.m., but lost sight of him. However, the Air Support Unit was able to find and follow the reckless driver. The car's tires were spiked, and a pit was conducted, bringing the vehicle to a stop and allowing PPB to arrest the 44-year-old man. (KATU)
- Portland's Bloom Tour is bringing flowers around downtown and Old Town. Downtown Portland Clean & Safe, along with 19 artists, is hosting 26 installations designed to bring beauty to the area to encourage visitors to the neighborhood. - The Elite Sports Academy camp is offering minority and underserved youth the chance to play various sports for free. Sports include soccer, dodgeball, and football, and the camp runs from Jun. 26 through Aug. 11. Over the last eight years, the camp has hosted more than 3,000 kids and served 30,000 free meals. (KATU)
- An apartment complex fire in Southeast Portland caused at least 14 residents to be displaced. The first started just after 3:00 a.m. at a complex in the 2400 block of Southeast 143rd Avenue and spread through the attic above another unit. Portland Fire & Rescue and Gresham Fire were able to attack the fire and stop it without further spread. (Fox 12 Oregon)

- Portlands farmers markets are beginning to open their doors again this spring, starting with King Farmers Market. The market opened on Sunday and will remain open until mid-November. The Lents and Kenton Farmers Market will open in the first week of June. (KATU)
- After a three-week distribution, the Blue, Green, and Red TriMet MAX train lines are running back on schedule. The latest installment included a track tie-in, track maintenance, and upgrades near the Gateway Transit Center. (KPTV)
- A new local dumpling-focused restaurant will open its doors in Portland on May 12 in Old-Town Chinatown. Xin Ding Dumpling House specializes in hand-made xiao long bao and will bring a new feel to the former Thirsty Lion space. (Eater Portland)
