Highway 26 Traffic Snarled Tuesday Morning As Fire Closes Ramp
Portland firefighters were able to quickly put out a fire by Eastbound 26 on Tuesday but not before traffic backed up.
PORTLAND, OR — A fire Tuesday morning by Highway 26 Eastbound between the 405 and Market Street ramps slowed traffic.
The fire, which is still being investigated, didn't appear to cause any injuries.
The Market Street ramp was closed briefly so firefighters could get to the scene.

Traffic should return to normal soon but caution is advised and people should consider taking another route is possible.
