Hit and Run Crash In North Police Prompts Police Call For Help

A person crossing the street is now in the hospital after being hit by a car. The driver has not been found.

PORTLAND, OR — The driver of a 2012 steel blue Ford Fusion ran into a person crossing the street Monday night and drove off. The victim was left in the road and police are now looking for the driver.

It happened at 9:20 p.m. by Noth Columbia Blvd. and North Clarendon Ave.

The pedestrian is in critical condition at a nearby hospital.
