Jen Knight: Portland Mom Blogger

Portland Moms Blog is a collaborative blog written by, and for, local moms with posts about things to do around town, ways to get involved in the community, parenting tips, personal essays from local moms, local business spotlights, giveaways, and more.

Jen Knight, co-founder and owner, is making her lifestyle into a career and she's doing it with Portland Moms Blog. This mother of two decided to take the plunge into the Portland blogging scene and it spread like wildfire.

Knight, a self-described introvert, is a parent first and a blogger second. She attributes her success to the learning process that occurs during parenthood.

That process, combined with a need to connect with other mothers having similar experiences, fueled the creation of the blog.

Her background in the corporate world has provided her with valuable experience in social media, copy editing, and writing. She is now a high powered blogger and manager leading a team of 19 contributing writers and 1 full time managing editor.
