- The families of two MAX stabbing victims are searching for people who interacted with the attacker. The families of Ricky Best and Taliesin Myrddin Namkai Meche, two men fatally stabbed by Jeremy Christian on a MAX train in Portland in 2017, recently asked the public for help in identifying anyone who pressed the train’s intercom button in the minutes before the stabbings occurred, or anyone who interacted with Christian in the 48 hours before the attack. - Portland Art Museum is planning a glow-up! Following a decade of planning and community engagement, the museum begins work this week relocating its main loading dock from Park Avenue to SW Jefferson Street. The museum will remain open during construction. (Portland Art Museum via Instagram)
- Portland Police Bureau identified the victim in the Hazelwood neighborhood shooting. In a press release update, Portland Police identified 24-year-old Amado Santos as the victim, with the cause of death to be homicide by a gunshot wound. (Portland Police Bureau via Facebook)
