Motorcyclist Dead After Collision With Sedan On Powell Boulevard
The Saturday afternoon crash closed Powell Boulevard between 60th and 65th Avenues for several hours.
PORTLAND, OR —A crash on Southeast Powell Boulevard left a motorcyclist dead and sent the driver of a sedan to the hospital with serious injuries, according to Portland police.
Police said that officers arrived at Southeast Powell Boulevard and Southeast 62nd Avenue around 3:45 p.m. where they found a motorcyclist and four-door sedan had crashed.
The motorcyclist was dead and the driver of the sedan was seriously injured and hospitalized, according to police. There was a passenger in the sedan who was not seriously injured and did not need to go to a hospital, police said.

Police have not provided any other details about the crash and people involved.
Southeast Powell Boulevard was closed between Southeast 62nd Avenue and Southeast 65th Avenue for several hours while police investigated.
