Patch: What is the biggest struggle your organization faces?

The Portland Film Festival: We are growing every year, and becoming more and more nationally known destination festival for filmmakers to attend, both locally and from around the country - which we love so much, but organizing and running the festival and taking care of our filmmakers is challenging. But we have a great team of volunteers, who really knock it out of the park. It's an honor to be involved.

Patch: What do you hope for the future of your nonprofit?

The Portland Film Festival: We hope the Portland Film Festival continues to grow and become a national platform for independent filmmakers—it will be a great way to showcase Portland film on a national level.
