Oaks Amusement Park Sunday Hosts Pride Rides Event
Oaks Amusement Park will celebrate LGBTQ+ communities in the region Sunday, the Oak Park Association said.

PORTLAND, OR — Oaks Amusement Park will be a celebration of love and Pride Sunday in honor of the region's LGBTQ+ communities, the Oaks Park Association said Friday. The event is being billed as its"1st Annual Pride Rides."
While the amusement park regularly hosts an even it calls "Gay Skate," this time the event is being expanded to the entire amusement park and will include discounts on ride bracelets, cake and balloons, Pride-themed prizes and more.
The park will be open from 11 a.m. through 8 p.m.

The park said that as part of the celebration, there will be:
- $5 off online Ride Bracelet purchases using coupon code PRIDERIDES22.
- Limited-edition treats at the concession stands.
- Pride-themed game prizes and gift shop merchandise.
- Free cake and balloons at 2 p.m. courtesy of PDX Parent and Holler Treats.
- Special-edition Gay Skate in the rink from 6-9:30 p.m.
The ride bracelet must be purchased online.
