Oregon City Wednesday Weather Could Bring Thunderstorms, Weak Tornado
The National Weather Service warns that thunderstorms Wednesday could lead to a "brief, weak tornado."

OREGON CITY, OR —So far, April has brought Oregon City, torrential rain, thunderstorms, snow, hail. heavy winds. Think that it can't get any worse?
How about a tornado?
The National Weather Service's Portland Office predicts a very small risk of a brief, weak tornado" in the Willamette Valley on Wednesday.

That would the topping on a day that forecasters predict could see some thunderstorms and showers strong enough "to reach severe levels, posing a risk of damaging wind gusts of 60mph and large hail up to one inch in diameter."
Even if there's no tornado and hail, Weather Service forecaster warned that the most likely severe weather threat "will be damaging wind guests" and urged people to "please avoid sheltering under trees, even if in a car, if threatening weather approaches your location."

The forecast said that the "risk of damaging winds will be highest during the late morning and afternoon hours."
The low will be 41 and the high will be 54, according to the weather service.
If you need a ray of hope, the National Weather Service says Saturday and Sunday should see the temperatures climb into the mid-to upper 60s.
