Oregon Voter Guide 2022: Who Is Running, Where To Drop Your Ballot

If you I've in Clackamas, Multnomah or Washington counties, here's your 2022 election day guide.

PORTLAND, OR — Tuesday is primary election day in Oregon, and everyone should have received a ballot a couple of weeks ago.

In a change this year, people will no longer have to get ballots in on election day. People just have to make sure that a ballot is postmarked by the end of election day, and the ballot must arrive within one week.

There are dozens of candidates running for offices from governor and U.S. senator to city commissioner and county auditor.

Below is an office-by-office list of candidates, with links to campaign websites. In most cases, the candidates are divided by party, but there are several offices that are nonpartisan.

As of Friday, only 432,540 voters — or 14.7 percent of registered voters — had returned ballots. That would be a record low for the state.
