PORTLAND, OR — One of Portland's grand holiday traditions is coming back this year. The organizers of Peacock Lane announced that they are going to be open again this year.

The annual tradition of people along the one street in Southeast Portland decorating their houses and their lawns, using enough energy to power the rest of the city, took 2020 off because of the pandemic.

The announcement came soon after the state said that the outdoor mask mandate was over.
