Portland Area Should Wake To Wintry Mix On Wednesday Morning
It's not going to be the Snowpocalypse or Snowmageddon or anything like that. But there should be some snow sticking around the area.

PORTLAND, OR — You might want to set your alarm for a little earlier than normal if you have a morning commute on Wednesday. While there won't be a large storm, the National Weather Service's Portland office is forecasting rain and possible snow for the morning throughout the region.
They add that the temperature will be hovering around freezing at the start and it will take time for things to warm up. In the meantime, drivers should expect the possibility of slick, if not icy roads.
On top of that, there could be some snow sticking, which could mask ice beneath.

The result is that the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory lasting from 4 a.m. Wednesday through the same time on Thursday.
For people 500 feet and below, don't be surprised if you see some snow on the streets and bushes. It should all be gone by early afternoon.

For those at higher elevations, they should be prepared for up to an inch and maybe more of snow.
The Cascades and the Coastal Range should get several inches, which won't be melting as fast as the snow in the Valley.
