Portland Area Temperatures Drop, Counties Open Warming Centers
Warming centers in Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington counties will remain open until it gets warmer.

PORTLAND, OR —The temperature dipping below freezing has officials in Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington counties concerned about the well-being of the hundreds of people who call the streets home. All three counties are opening warming centers to help those people.
While the temperature will dip to the low to mid-20s, the wind chill factor will make it feel like it's in the teens.
In Multnomah County, the shelters are open at 8 p.m. and remain open until at 10 a.m.
