Portland Area Weather On Last Full Day Of Summer Should Pass 80
The National Weather Service says that the area could tie the record for the most 80 degree days. We could then set a new record on Friday.

PORTLAND, OR – Summer may not be leaving with a bang but it should certainly leave a smile on your face.
There's a good chance that people in the region will get to see the temperature hit, maybe even pass, 80 degrees on Tuesday. If that happens, it will be for the 87th time this year.
That would be tie the record for the most times in a year in Portland that the temperature hit 80 or above. The record was set in 2015.

The National Weather Service says it should be mostly clear all day, with almost no wind. That means it's unlikely that smoke from any of the fires in the Northwest will reach us, keeping the air quality in the excellent range.

If all goes well, the National Weather Service says that we could see another 80 degree on Friday, which wold set a new record.
Of course, now that I've written this, the temperature will probably hit 79 and start falling.
Either way, enjoy the last day of summer. Fall will be here on Wednesday.
