Portland Police Seek Owners Of Stolen Items, Arrests Made

Portland Police say they arrested four people and recovered dozens of stolen items. Now they want to find the owners of the items.

PORTLAND, OR — Are you a firefighter and your turnout coat is missing, possibly stolen? Maybe you're a Segway owner and your ride is missing. Can't find your gun?

Portland Police say that those are just three of the dozens of stolen items that they recovered when executing a search warrant last week.

They also found an electric motorcycle, industrial equipment, a key cutter, and several dozen stolen, checks, forged and fraudulent checks, and other financial documents.

They would love to reunite the items with their owners. The Central Precinct's Neighborhood Response Team is asking for help identifying the owners of a recovered Segway, and tan firefighter turnout coat (it's not from Portland Fire).

The items were recovered when police executed a search warrant at a home in Southeast Portland.

Police arrested four people that they believe were involved in numerous crimes at homes and commercial locations, mostly in inner-Southeast.

Police say that they arrested:

Jay Lamb, 35, of Portland, was charged with Theft in the First Degree, Theft by Receiving, and Burglary in the Second Degree,

Karen Brown, 27, was lodged at the Multnomah County Detention Center on two existing felony warrants;

Jeffrey Garder, 45, and Koy Hill, 52, both of Portland, were also cited for outstanding warrants.

The investigation continues and more charges are expected.
