PORTLAND, OR —For the fourth time in less than one month, a Portland Public School was tagged with racist and hateful graffiti. This time it was Cleveland High School in Southeast Portland.

It happened sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning. the vandals spray panted the doors to the gym and the school's main entrance, windows on the first floor, and the school's track and field area including benches.

While the doors and windows were painted over by Monday morning, the track was not. Once again, students in Portland were attending class at a crime scene.

Wadkins used what appears to be a form email given to principals when such an attack occurs.

Several phrases including referring to the attack as an "affront to our core values of racial equality and social justice" appear in several other recent emails.

The school had counselors available for students and staff on Monday.
